About optimal location of seismic sensors at the perimeter of company

This article investigates the dependence of the characteristics of perimeter security system on the geometrical arrangement of seismic sensors. The topology and the installation intervals of seismic sensors affect the following system characteristics related to its information content: the width of the monitored area and the precision of intruders localization. Three typical topologies of the sensors installation are considered: two lines in a staggered manner, two lines without offset, three lines in a staggered manner.
