A job shop scheduling optimization problem with simulation in make-to-order discrete environment is covered. Several optimization criteria are used for that purpose. Simulation model is used for evaluation of the optimization criteria and constraints. Genetic algorithm is used for optimal simulation model parameters selection. The results of genetic algorithm usage for solving job shop scheduling optimization problem in make-to-order discrete environment are shown.
