Arrangement of detective police in the Kuban province at the beginning of the 20th century

The paper considered an issue of urgency to establish a detective office under the police department (criminal investigation division) at the beginning of the 20th century. In the Kuban region the detective offices had been established in Ekaterinodar and Novorossiysk towns. Already in early years of their operation they succeeded a lot in their fight against criminal offence. Therefore expenditures for the criminal investigation offices had increased.
