Evaluation features of network quality and efficiency indicators of data transmission and traffic routing

An in-depth analysis of the quality and efficiency of network systems has been carried out. Significant indicators of the quality of the data transmission network have been identified, determining the degree of its suitability for its intended use and influencing the values of efficiency indicators. The article systematizes private indicators of the effectiveness of network, including, along with efficiency, speed and resource intensity, intermediate indicators of performance and productivity, which have independent informativeness in relation to evaluating the network efficiency. The expediency of separate consideration of indicators of the technical quality of networks and the quality of service for their users is substantiated.
