About features of renewal of conifers of breeds on cuttings down in basin of lake baikal

Influence of forest types and altitudinal zonality on a pine and a larch renewal on cuttings down is investigated. Satisfactory forest renewal on cuttings down in fresh groups of forest types located in low-mountain and middle-mountain belts as well as in humid groups of forest types in middle-mountain and high-mountain belts is established. Unsatisfactory natural renewal is marked on cuttings down in dry and wet groups of forest types, where it is recommended to plan artificial restoration.
