On certain measures to eliminate the circumstances contributing to environmental crimes

Purpose: To increase the effectiveness of investigators during the investigation of environmental crimes through their use of modern forensic ideas about the measures to eliminate the circumstances that contributed to the commission of such crimes. Methodology: Historical-legal and formal-legal methods, as well as method of the included observation were used. Results: The author has identified measures to eliminate the circumstances that contributed to the commission of environmental crimes related to the removal of natural resources. Such measures include: making a presentation on the elimination of circumstances that contributed to the commission of environmental crimes; implementation of legal environmental education of the population; taking measures to generalize and analyze the criminogenic circumstances revealed in the course of the investigation. The main emphasis is placed on the role and importance in the activities of law enforcement agencies to eliminate the circumstances that contributed to the commission of environmental crimes, making a presentation to eliminate the circumstances that contributed to the commission of environmental crimes. Novelty/originality/value: The author have analyzed the actions of the investigator aimed at eliminating the circumstances that contributed to the commission of crimes, which are considered by the author as one of the significant areas of planning the investigation of crimes. Elimination of circumstances which contributed to committing environmental crimes is presented by the author as a natural continuation of realization of the investigator’s actions aimed at establishing of circumstances which contributed to committing of crimes.
