Participation of the Chuvash youth in maintenance of public order in 1970's

The article covers the participation of the Chuvash young people in the fight against crime and delinquency. The author analyzes the activity of Komsomol operative units of voluntary militia helpers, created under Komsomol committees of factories, educational institutions etc. They worked in touch with law enforcement agencies. Special attention is given to the work of the Cheboksary Komsomol operative company on juvenile and youth crime prevention.
