On institutions of public charity in Turkestan: historical-legal aspect

The article is devoted to institutions of charity for poor and children's orphanage in Russian Turkestan. The author notes that not only Russian, but also young children of natives were under special state supervision. They actually were included in the institute of royal power - The Office of the Orphanages of the Empress Maria.
