The object of crime in criminal legislation and in the theory of criminal law

The article examines basic areas of influence of the subject of crime (protection) as a substantial phenomenon for criminal law on the legislation under the same name: on its structure and content of general and special parts of 1996 Russias Criminal Code. The author analyses some existing current theoretical conceptions of the subject of crime and defines the main problems and perspectives of its further examination.
