Electric power facilities on agricultural lands: legal problems and judicial practice

The author considers the possibility and conditions for placing electric power facilities on land plots of the category of agricultural lands. The article emphasizes that such facilities should either be intraeconomic or be used for the production, storage, and primary processing of agricultural products. It is concluded that the judicial protection of holders of land plots rights in the situation when electric power facilities place on them without taking into account the specified conditions is difficult because of the need to ensure the energy security of consumers.
