Provision of innovative development through import substitution strategies implemented by state corporations

State corporations play a special role in ensuring import substitution in critical industries in order to achieve independence from other countries, as well as the development of innovative potential, aimed not only at ensuring the economic stability of the Russian economy, but also designed to promote the development of new areas or those that are has received little attention over the past decades. The purpose of this article is to study the activities of state corporations using the example of Rosatom, Rostec and Roscosmos, to analyze the events that led to the degradation of Russian science, and to analyze the areas within which the import substitution policy is being implemented in connection with the sanctions imposed by Western countries. State corporations, having extensive experience and unique technological and research and development capabilities, are able to play a significant role in maintaining the economic stability of our country and become a catalyst for further innovative development.
