Providing the ecological safety of mining the hydrocarbons on Primagadam shelf (northern part of Okhotsk Sea)

Бесплатный доступ

Primagadan part of North Okhotsk sea shelf in the nearest years would becomes the object of intensive hydrocarbon resourses development. At the same time it concerns to number of the most bioproductive in the world. Therefore there is a necessity to provide here ecological safety of oil and gas extraction. Complexity of a problem consists in long (6-7 months in a year) existence of a continuous cover of drift ice, in features of engineering-geological conditions. Having studied the paleocrystic regime of seasonal ice cover and having analysed data about character of bottom Primagadan shelf, authors have come to conclusion to expediency of use the anchored ice-proof platform on tension support. Such type of platforms will provide necessary level of ecological safety of hydrocarbonic resources development in Primagadan shelf. It is paid attention to ecological hazard of the works connected with increase of benthic layer roiliness of water thickness.
