Ensuring environmental safety in the Rostov region as a factor in the strategic development of the region

Environmental security is an important component of national security, which is having an increasing impact on the health and wellbeing of the population and the economic development of all sectors of the economy. In the contemporary economy and development of scientific and technical progress consideration of issues to ensure environmental safety are the priority tasks of state policy and contain a set of measures aimed at appropriate use of land and subsoil, water, flora and fauna, preservation of clean air and water, the improvement of the human environment. This article describes a system of ecological security on the territory of the Rostov region and the main strategic objectives of environmental management with the goal of the strategic socio-economic development of the region.
