Ensuring economic security of the region based on the assessment of threats in the real sector of economy

This article identifies key tasks in ensuring the economic security of the real sector of the economy. The economic, environmental and social prerequisites for the emergence of ideas about economic security are identified. The leading specialization sectors of the Krasnodar Territory are identified, which determine its key role in the development of the Russian economy. The indicators of economic security based on the assessment of economic and innovative indicators, allowing to identify the dynamics of the regional economy over the past five years. Using the indicator method, key indicators are determined that characterize the state of economic security of the real sector of the economy of the Krasnodar Territory. Threats to economic security are shown, which consist in a low amount of gross regional product per capita, a decrease in the amount of capital investment, a low share of research and development costs relative to the gross regional product, a high share in food imports, a critical population with incomes below the subsistence level, a depopulation rate in excess of the critical value of the last two years...
