Availability of fixed assets and problems of their reproduction in agricultural enterprises

The company's fixed assets ensure economic development of organizations and steady growth of agricultural production. The peculiarities of agricultural production have a significant impact on the process of reproduction of fixed assets. The article examines the main factors influencing the process of reproduction of fixed assets in agricultural organizations of the Orel region. The indicators of availability, movement, quality condition and reproduction of fixed assets in the agricultural organizations are determined. It has been established that the cost of fixed assets of this category of farms is increasing by their main types and in general. A high growth rate in the cost of fixed assets is observed for machinery and equipment - 26.5%, vehicles - 32.0%, production and household inventory - 45%. The calculations carried out by the authors have shown that in agricultural organizations the coefficient of renewal of fixed assets is higher than the coefficient of disposal, which indicates that the conditions created for agricultural enterprises in the region are quite suitable for expanded reproduction of fixed assets. The study of the availability and condition of agricultural machinery in the agricultural organizations has shown that there are problems with the introduction of scientific and technological progress, new technologies, and attracting new investments. The main factors constraining the process of reproduction of fixed assets include: disparity in prices for agricultural and industrial products, inflation, which reduces the purchasing power of depreciation charges, high loan rates, increased risks and the probabilistic nature of agricultural production. In this regard, agricultural organizations need government support and the implementation of federal (industry-specific) programs to provide basic facilities for the industry's production processes in the context of digitalization and robotization.
