The common sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides L.) in riverside and meadow cenoses in Kabardino-Balkarian Republic

The review on the state of the studies in the common seabuckthorn growing in river floodplains and meadows of Kabardino-Balkaria is represented. The species distribution in the gorges is considered; records of productivity and total stock of seabuckthorn berries are conducted, and economic use of the berries by the local population is also given.
