The analysis of researches of domestic and foreign authors and preliminary own researches testify to prospects of application of geothermal systems of a microclimate. Such systems use the principle of relative constancy of the temperature of the earth's thickness. The article presents the calculation of the main design parameters of the geothermal air cooling system in the livestock room. Unlike traditional systems, it does not use fossil fuels to generate heat. The energy of the earth column is used, and electricity is necessary for the operation of fans, compressors and pumps. The calculation of the cooling plant, as well as the flow rate and velocity of water passing through the heat exchanger and the probe was made. The technological scheme of the combined installation of heating and cooling of livestock premises using geothermal energy and off-peak electric energy is presented. Off-peak electricity at a cheap rate is used for heating and accumulation of hot water in the heating mode. The principle of the scheme operation in heating and cooling modes of livestock premises is described. The types of ground heat exchangers (probes) that can be used for such technical solutions are considered. The introduction of such a system on a 200-head dairy farm will reduce energy costs for maintaining the microclimate during the year to 35% in comparison with traditional systems.
