The defense and patriotic direction of the state library policy of the USSR in the pre-war decade (1931-1941)

The article investigates the participation of libraries in defensive and patriotic activity before the War. It shows the leading trends of library policy, new forms and ideology changes. It note the important investment of libraries in Great Victory 1945.
