Analytical substantiation of the investment development of agriculture in the Kaliningrad region

The purpose of the study is to develop proposals for investment development of the agro-industrial complex in the Kaliningrad Region, aimed at improving food security and expanding the industry's export potential. The following tasks were set in the work: analyzing the dynamics and structure of the regional agro-industry, assessing food security for the region's population, studying agricultural producers, including integrated structures, using structural and dynamic analysis methods, calculating methods, graphical and tabular representations of results. Initial data were official statistics, accounting information from companies and the tax service, calculations by authors. The main conclusion of the study is that the presence of large integrated structures has a significant impact on the development of the agro-industrial complex in the region, and further development of industry is linked to their investment plans. In such circumstances, it is essential to protect the interests of small producers with regard to access to sales markets and systematic interaction with large market players.
