Justification of the directions of development of the regional food market on the basis of modeling

The article is based on the forecast and priority directions of the food market development in the region. This article provides a rationale for the development of the regional food market based on the construction of an optimization model that includes a target function and a set of constraints. The modeling is carried out taking into account the factors of territorial specialization, optimal volumes and types of food production, the necessary capacity of processing enterprises and the availability of material and technical base in the region. The comparison of the regions with each other by types of food products is given. Calculations are made to identify the types of food products that are suitable for production in the region.
