Justification of the need for financial support to small and medium businesses

This article analyses the current state of development of small and medium businesses in the Russian Federation. The purpose of the work is to study and substantiate the need for financial support to small and medium-sized enterprises. It was revealed that necessary to create a competitive environment, that is, to increase the number of small and medium businesses. The task of legislative and executive authorities is to elaborate on the entire mechanism, in particular financial support.
