Explanation of key criteria of medical service quality audit in Pirogov National Center of therapy and surgery

Analysis of medical service conformance to recognized quality level predetermines necessity of scientific explanation of criteria, standards, measurement data and standard basis for quality evaluation. Nowadays one of the key problems of Russian Healthcare is formation of medical service quality managing systems. Quality systems enable to reduce treatment extra-expenditures caused by treatment flaws, to reduce general cost of treatment and to create rational collaboration between treatment process participants. Undoubtedly, quality systems have to function well in order to prevent problems, not simply to identify them after they have occurred. Here medical audit has to play the key part, its main purposes being analysis and development of prevention strategies to stimulate stable and high-quality performance of any type of hospital.
