Rationale for the use of silicate gel as the technological liquid of the hydraulic fracturing

In the article the questions of a substantiation of development of technological fluids as propane carriers during hydraulic fracturing are considered. Methods for conducting a study to determine the physicochemical properties of gel-forming compositions based on sodium silicate are described. The results of the experimental study are summarized, the high ability of sand retention of the compositions being developed and the possibility of correcting the gel time are revealed.
