The usage of creative laboratory of the publicist P. Rebrin during studying of publicistic genres

The article deals with the problem of teaching students majoring on «Journalism» the principles of publicistic skills within the course «The principles of journalistic activity». The author introduces a methodic case developed on the ground of working diary entries of Siberian publicist Pyotr Rebrin. Such notions as «publicistic character», «author’s ego», «author’s position» are considered in the article; there is a comparison of the author’s initial materials and creative result which is expressed in the essay works. The article gives the examples of P. Rebrin’s texts usage on practical studies with students. Therefore, his war diaries show the development of the author’s skills of watching the details; they give the examples of their figurative rethinking. The later materials show the experience of creating the problematic essay which was based on a deep studying of life, labor and personal relationship of characters. During the studying of «Journalism» no less important thing for students is the ability to see the process of formation of P. Rebrin author’s position based on an unbiased research of social contradictions. A huge material for this is presented in the history of creation of the essay »Golovyrino, Golovyrino…» which was reflected in working diaries of the publicist, and in the text of the essay, which was also considered during the lessons. The important result the students achieve in the process of studying of Pyotr Rebrin’s creation work is their recognition of his personality scale. The example of his creativity shows how important for the publicist to develop constantly as a person, to regard to life thoughtfully and carefully. Eventually the acquaintance with such outstanding person as Rebrin becomes important developmental and educative factor for beginning journalists.
