Enforcement of pledged shares without resort to courts

The author examines the various ways of foreclosure on pledged shares out of court, especially their implementation, the advantages and disadvantages of each, as well as issues of balancing the interests of both the mortgagor and the mortgagee. The author draws attention to the peculiarities of legal regulation of pledge of shares, in particular, their accounting, order entry in the register of shareholders.
