The image of Attila in world art

The name Attila, the leader of the Huns, is familiar to almost everyone. He was considered invincible and conquered entire nations. Such a figure could not but leave a mark in world culture. Literature, music, painting, architecture, cinema more than once turned to the image of Attila Beach of God, counting dozens of works created over several centuries. The authors attempted to analyze the artistic image of Attila, using the most famous works of different eras in the history of world culture. During the analysis, two versions of the image were found: positive and negative, reflecting civilizational and religious confrontation, somewhat smoothed out as it approached the 19th century. and depending on the authorship of the "barbarian" or "romance" worlds.
