The image of “the character of the rumour” in the poetics of the novel “Big Meaulnes” by Alain-Fournier

In this paper the poetics of “the character’s of the rumour” image in Alain-Fournier’s novel “Big Meaulnes” is examined in its connection with the poetics of the author’s method of representing the “spiritual reality”. The article also shows the links of the ‘the character’s of the rumour” image poetics in Alain-Fournier’s novel, with the methods of Dostoevski’s poetics. The development of Dostoevski’s creative experience by Alain-Fournier is also examined.
