The image of Spain in documental and historical Russian prose of 15-18th centuries

The image of Spain and Spanish theme in the Russian literature of the 15-18 centuries are relevant for both literary studies and cultural studies. The mechanisms of penetration of data and plots about Spain can be retraced not only in belles-lettres but also with the reference to documental and historical sources, in particular, to Feofan’s Chronography, Russian Chronograph, Chronograph of Western-Russian Edition, Memoirs by Potemkin.
