The article is devoted to the study of images of ships in Russian iconography of the XV-XVII centuries. The influence of icon-painting trends of the XV-XVII centuries on the image of a ship is considered on the example of individual icons belonging to different icon-painting schools. Information about the design features of the ships depicted on these icons is presented
