The image of the Russian non-systemic opposition in Runet: formation technologies

The article analyzes the basic technologies for the purposeful formation of the image of a non-systemic opposition in modern Russia. It is noted that today non-systemic actors purposefully use such significant technologies for constructing their own image as moral opposition to the authorities, integration into local social protest, biographical storytelling, “virtual” flash mobs. It seems that the most productive among them is embedding in a “virtual” social protest. This makes it possible to expand the audience of potential supporters. Moreover, it opens up opportunities for the multiplication of protest moods on a nationwide scale, since the basic prerequisites for the emergence of social protest, which are environmental and related to the improvement of territories, are largely typical for Russian regions. In modern conditions, the Russian opposition has sharply identified the need to search for fundamentally new formats and technological solutions to minimize the negative consequences of the growing administrative pressure from the authorities, which, since the mid-2010th, have been trying to more actively regulate the political segment of Internet. It is important to recognize that this task cannot be solved solely through the diversification of Internet content and platforms for its placement in a “virtual” environment.
