Lifestyle and cross-sectoral cooperation on public health

The aim of the study was to assess health determinants and to evaluate the impact of interested sectors of the state and society on the informative parameters of health care related to lifestyle. Material and methods. We conducted an anonymous survey of 415 healthcare professionals involved in the organization of medical care and 8,374 non-medical workers. Results. We identified 37 health determinants and estimated their role in the lifestyle. We created a regional lifestyle ‘portrait.’ We determined the significance of the impact of interested sectors of the state and society on the informative lifestyle parameters in the assessment of public health effectiveness. Conclusion. Our results can be implemented into routine practice of public health.
