Education as a tool for social and economic development

This article analyzes the importance of education in raising the socio-economic level of society. Education is a key element of economic progress, improving the quality of life of the population and reducing the level of social inequality. The paper examines the impact of education on the formation of human capital, stimulation of the development of science and technology, as well as on institutional and social transformations in society. The article focuses on the fact that education serves not only as a way to improve the professional qualifications of workers, but also as an important factor in innovative development, facilitating the introduction of modern technologies and increasing the competitiveness of the economic system. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that education influences public consciousness, forming more critical thinking and an active civic position, which is a necessary condition for sustainable socio-economic development. In addition, the article emphasizes that investments in education should be viewed as long-term investments in human capital, which is considered one of the main drivers of economic growth and welfare.
