Аbstract: The article is devoted to the formation of the Clamar faction and the prerequisites for the “Clamar split”. It is known that the events of the end of 1928 and the beginning of 1929 (the Clamar split) led to a split of the Eurasian movement. It was established that a number of factors contributed to this process since the mid-1920s: cooperation with the KGB organization, codenamed “Trust,” with the group of A. P. Kutepov, personal communication of some representatives of Eurasianism with Soviet citizens, namely M Bitter.
