Educational Cooperation between Saint Petersburg and Shanghai: Current Status and Development Prospects

This article presents an overview of the areas and forms of educational cooperation between the sister cities of St. Petersburg and Shanghai. It identifi es the factors determining the prospects for cooperation and demonstrates its role and signifi cance in the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and China. It illustrates the existing formats of educational cooperation between the two cities and identifi es prospects for their further development. Key qualitative and quantitative characteristics of this cooperation are presented, illustrating its positive dynamics.
