General characteristics of state policy to promote the development of volunteering

In this scientific article, the author examines the features of modern Russian state policy to promote the development of volunteerism. First of all, the author notes the practical importance of volunteering for the Russian state and its wide distribution. Next, the author examines the main directions in which the state currently supports and promotes the development of volunteer activities. At the conclusion of the scientific work, the author draws conclusions about those areas of support that require qualitative improvement.
