General theory of cultural codes

The article substantiates the need to develop a general theory of the cultural code; the essence of the concept “cultural code” is analyzed. The proposed model of the cultural code provides for the “trinity of the cultural code”, which includes three components: a unit of information, structure and potential (energy) of reflection. Encoding and decoding are possible in the presence of the “fourth element”, that is, the consciousness of a person who is outside the “cultural code”. The cultural code model makes it possible to substantiate the general theory of the cultural code.
