General concept of mnemic processes in the scientific psychological literature

The article analyzes various approaches and points of view to understanding the problem of mnemonic activity. The assessment of the main problems of mnemonic activity from the perspective of various psychological theories is carried out. It is concluded that it is difficult to name at least one property, quality, characteristic of a person who would not be in the circle of this problem. The assimilation of a person's knowledge about the world around him and about himself, the assimilation of norms of behavior, the acquisition of skills, habits - all this is connected with the work of memory. This question allows us to correct the conditions of mnemonic activity, to identify the characteristic features of memory as a form of conscious human activity.
