Public activity of Savranna Yakovlevna Erbanova in the 1960s-1970-s

The article is devoted to the public activity of Savranna Yakovlevna Erbanova in the 1960s-1970s. It is emphasized that by that time she had achieved the legal rehabilitation of her husband Mikhei Nikolaevich Erbanov (Soviet party and government leader, the first secretary of the Buryat-Mongol Regional Committee of the All-Russian Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of the Buryat-Mongol Republic (1928-1937)) and returned in 1956 from Kazakhstan to Buryatia. In Buryatia she reinstated at the State Planning Committee of the Buryat-Mongol Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in the capacity of an economist. Savanna Yakovlevna considered that complete rehabilitation of her husband and associate was her primary goal. The article reviews Erbanova's activities in the 1960s-1970s and emphasizes the necessity of preserving historical memory about her. It is noted that during the period under consideration Erbanova received well-deserved recognition for her contribution to the development of society.
