Russian public opinion on the agrarian crisis in the late XIX - early XX century

The paper considers the analysis of views of the Russian scientists, economists, representatives of different socio-political movements of the late XIX - early XX century on the cause-and-effect relationship between the global economic downturn and the Russian agrarian crisis. The majority of scientists and journalists took into account the external factors (the global agricultural crisis), but nevertheless regarded that the Russian agrarian crisis was caused exclusively by the domestic economic and political factors.
