The public danger of crimes encroaching on interests in the field of professional sports in the Russian Federation and foreign countries

The sphere of professional sports, both in Russia and abroad, is traditionally one of the most closed. Moreover, this applies equally to both its legal regulation and, in particular, to internal (corporate) rules, on the basis of which most issues related to this group of social relations are resolved. At the same time, the area of human activity under study is of the most public nature, attracting the serious attention of a significant number of people around the globe. Having an educational and, partly, political nature, professional sport is capable of exerting a corresponding influence on both an individual and the masses as a whole. Hence, all the divisions occurring in professional sports, which have become accessible to the average person, are capable of influencing entire generations of young athletes, causing a public outcry, and influencing the public consciousness of entire categories of the population not only of the country, but of the world as a whole. In this regard, the study of the social danger of crimes committed in this area should not be limited only to the traditional markers inherent in this category, and can give an appropriate result only if it goes far beyond the usual dogmas.
