The modern economy is characterized by a change in consumption patterns. The increase in the share of sign consumption leads to radical changes in the methods and tools of competitive struggle. The system of promotion of goods and services is actively developing and complicating the forms of social and functional technologies that allow changing the economic logic of consumer choice. This article is devoted to the study of the field of application of social and functional technologies in the promotion of consumer goods on the example of light industry of the Republic of Belarus.
