The article deals with the analysis of the spatial differences of some characteristics of the rural districts of Uzbekistan, such as territory area, population size and density, the demographic load on the land fund, used in agriculture. The authors also examine the dynamics of the grid of the rural areas of the republic from the middle of the 1920s to the present.
