Public election observation in Russia as a communication network between the state and society

Based on a network approach to the study of political processes, the article examines the issues of organizing public control over elections in Russia, justifies the need for representatives of civil society to participate in election observation in order to increase confidence in the election results. Russian observers are united in a phygital network that provides two-way communication between society and the state on issues of monitoring the legality of elections. The author draws conclusion on the results of public observation of elections in the period 2018-2024.
