General features of the district police guard of the Yaroslavl province in 1907 (case study of Rybinsk district)

The article deals with activities of the district police guard as a new body of public order and justice created as a consequence of reformation of the district police apparatus in the early 20 th century. The activity of the district police guard is poorly researched in the modern historical science. The author reviews the main features of the district police guard in 1907 by case study of the Rybinsk team, which exemplifies what way the new body executed the law enforcement in the regions of the Russian Empire.
