Extensive post-operational ventral hernia: complications after operative intervention

In 2020, 49 operations for postoperative ventral hernias were performed at the National Surgical Center. The length of stay in the hospital averaged 10-14 days. There were no lethal outcomes. The analysis showed that this technique is adequate and successful for patients with extensive postoperative ventral hernias. After this method, complications of two cases of seroma were observed, in one case, marginal necrosis of the postoperative wound and one ligature fistula.
