Training of future teachers of computer science for using methods, algorithms and technologies of compression of data

In this article the development of informational and technological competences as a leading component in the development of professional competence of a future teacher of computer science on the example of studying the discipline «Methods, algorithms and technologies of compression of data» by future teachers is considered. The place of the developed discipline in the two-level system of training of future teachers of computer science is revealed, the approach to selecting the content is described and the results of the theoretical and experimental research which is being carried out within writing the thesis on the technique of training future teachers of computer science in Master's programme are given.
