Training in tactics of police crews in urban environments

The article analyzes the training of police crews in urban environments, identifying problems such as limited ranges, insufficient crew coordination, psychological barriers and outdated instructions. Elements of tactics such as block maneuvers in residential complexes and parallel pursuit of robbers, solutions through situational learning, urban simulators and role rotation, as well as innovations including augmented reality in helmets, virtual assistants for routes and reconnaissance drones are considered. The importance of interdepartmental exercises and digitalization is emphasized in order to increase the effectiveness of patrol units in megacities.
