The article analyzes the experience of introducing disciplines related to information modeling into educational programs. The importance of digitalization and automation of various sectors of the economy for the development of the construction industry of the Russian Federation is noted. The article describes the experience of the Siberian State Industrial University in the formation of some indicators of competencies related to the use of building information modeling technologies on the example of technological practice.
