Review of researches the superfamily Pisidioidea (Mollusca, Bivalvia) mollusk fauna in the reservoirs of Volga-Kama cascade

The review of long-term ecological and faunal researches of molluscs superfamily Pisidioidea mollusks in the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade (Ivankovo, Uglich, Rybinsk, Gorky, Cheboksary, Kama, Votkinsk, Kuibyshev, Saratov, Volgograd) is presented. The data on the number and species composition of mollusks since the formation of reservoirs up to date are presented. The analysis of spatial distribution of freshwater mollusks from superfamily Pisidioidea in the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama basin is conducted.
