Overview of open sources for mapping the fire regime of floodplain landscapes

In this paper, open sources for determining the occurrence of fires and burnt areas are considered. Similar works on mapping fires were studied, for example, in the Volga-Akhtuba floodplain and the Volga delta. The object of this study is the fire regime of the floodplain landscapes of the Lower Don. The study used active combustion centers FIRMS and burnt area products GABAM, MCD64A1 and FireCC51. As a result of the work, it was found that the most suitable product in floodplain conditions are MCD64A1 and FireCCI51.
